Our Firearms and Custom Shop has a large inventory of guns and accessories.
At Morris Levin & Son firearms and custom shop, firearms are something we are passionate about! We believe in the 2nd Amendment right of the people to keep and bear arms, so we have the inventory to back it. Not only do we have a knowledgeable staff available to answer any questions before making your firearms purchase, but we are open seven days a week to assist you in your firearms purchase. In additional we have a custom shop with a full time gun smith on staff as well. Not only is our firearms and custom gun shop a factory certified Cerakote® applicator, but we also offer hydro dipping as well. Since we are a full gun shop we will also buy your used guns, or help you sell your guns on consignment. Of course, that means we also sell used guns, so come on in to the MLS Firearms custom shop and browse our previously-owned firearms selection.

Hydro-dipping now available
Hydro-dipping is water transfer printing, a method of applying printed designs to three-dimensional surfaces and is now available at Morris Levin & Son. Furthermore we can hydro-dip rifles, long guns, synthetic stock and other items with hundreds of film styles to choose from. Please see a MLS firearms associate for details. Cerakote® is a specialized coating that can be applied to wood, polymers, metals, and plastics that is composed of a polymer-ceramic compound. The ceramic coating benefits the firearm by providing and enhancing physical components including:
- Improving the wear and tear over time
- Providing abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance
- Improving strength and durability
This gun coating is part sealant, part finish. As a result making this process perfect for extending the longevity of your firearm. Up until a couple of decades ago, guns were protected with stainless and blued steel to protect them from the elements. While these materials hold up well, they are not water-proof and require a layer of water-repellant oil to keep water at bay and protecting it from rust and corrosion.
The ceramic composite crafts a solid finish that is hard so if dropped it can withstand impacts scratches and dings. Cerakote is a great finish to have your gunsmith apply to aftermarket firearms to give it both a nice look and durability upgrade.
Cerakote is a great option because not only is it water-proof and able to fully protect a firearm, it is also available in a myriad of finishes to create anything from a bold to subtle look. Which makes it a great option for customizing your firearm.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CERAKOTE®?
Cerakote® is in a division of its own when it comes to gun coatings. For instance, Cerakote acts as a lubricant and many firearm users have noticed they can use much less of gun lubricant. And compared to other lubricants, users report that it attracts less of the unwanted stuff such as dirt, dust, and other particles — keeping it cleaner and functioning optimally.
Cerakote is also optimal for those who live in wet and humid conditions, efficiently protecting it from corrosion and oxidation, so if you tend to sweat a lot in the hotter seasons or live on a coast, Cerakote keeps your firearm dry.
Cerakote is advantageous because it is available in a variety of colors and patterns — so long to a standard black or military green! In other words, your gun can look cool and fashioned to match your cars interior or your favorite camo.

CCW Training
We believe that training is essential for safe firearm operation as well as effective self-defense. Our Conceal Carry Weapon (CCW) training conforms to the new 2021 California DOJ and Tulare County requirements of 4 hours Classroom, and 4 hours of practical qualification with your firearms. CCW Renewals now require 2 hours classroom and 2 hours of firearms qualifications. During the practical qualification process you must demonstrate reasonable competence with each of your firearms you wish to have included on your CCW permit.
